Help Contact Picture

How do I set a full picture as a contact picture? I always need to crop it.

Need to resize the picture in something like gimp (or similar)

Not sure what the size is for contact picture as I've got a desire but a little bit of trial and error or maybe able to find the dimensions on Google.

It's weird, I took a picture using the front camera, set it as a contact pic and it was full screen, great stuff!
Took another to change it and it wants it cropping.

That is weird. You didn't fiddle with the settings between?

How you getting on with it after your desire?

Nope, and to make sure I didn't, I'd factory reset it too.
I'm alright with it, used to the better battery on my Desire though, but I'll get that due to setcpu when I root.
