Help Contact pictures not working

Greetings

I'm wondering why my phone won't show the Facebook picture of my contacts?

It pulls in pics if I have the Facebook account linked with another account, but it won't do it if it is only a Facebook account by itself.

I downloaded syncmypix app, and it pulls the pic but the phone won't let it apply the pic and it says it's a read only contact.

Is there a work around for this annoying problem?!

I'm on android 4.0.3
