Contact Ringtone Question??

[peter7769]

Hi Folks
i have just now sorted out all my gmail contacts and that whats im using for my phonebook, what i wanted to know is if i set a contact with an individual ringtone will this work via the gmail contacts or do the phone numbers have to be in the actual phone phonebook, if you see what i mean

Thanks

Pete

All my contacts are google contacts and different ringtones for each contact work perfectly. Only catch is, the setting isn't stored in the google contact so if you flash and re-synch you have to reassign the ringtones.
