Hey everyone, I'll be as detailed here as I can about my issue.
I recently ran the official ICS upgrade for my phone (att variant GS2), I have been having the text message/vibration issue that I saw in another post, occasional lockup issues. Both of those are irritations that there doesn't seem to be a solution for at this time from what I have been reading.
The third issue is the one I'm hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction on. At some point recently my contacts have stopped syncing properly between the phone and the gmail account that is associated with it. I honestly do not know if the issue started after the ICS upgrade, or if it has been going on longer than that. I just realized it was happening this morning. There have been at least five or six contacts (possibly many more, i have not taken the time to compare the phones list with the list on gmail) There are multiple contacts on the phone that i have added recently that have not synced to gmail, it is almost acting like it is syncing only one direction. I have checked to make sure that the particular contacts are in fact in the correct address book (the "Google contact" section, and NOT just stored in the phones own phone book) I have also compared a entry that is synced properly, with one that is not and they both say "Google contact" with the correct gmail email address displayed directly under it.
This morning i also tried adding a 'test' contact to my contacts list on the computer, and it did show up on the phone withing 30 seconds or so. I then tried it the other way around, added a contact on the phone and (at least this morning) it showed up on the computer nice and quick too. But the other half a dozen ones still are not syncing.
I hope that makes sense, if anyone has any questions or ideas please let me know.
