Hey,

I have set my Hero to sync contacts with Google as a backup...
All the contacts that were on my phone have not synced with google...

Also when I try to add a contact and choose were to save it to I only have Exchange, Phone or Sim..

I have had the same problem and unfortunately followed some advice and ended up having to do a factory restore today. Very frustrating. But I figured out how to get my phone contacts on to my Google account! I synced my hero to my pc (microsoft Outlook) then exported my contacts from there and imported them to my Google account. Then set my phone to just show my Google contacts. A long way to do things but it worked. Good luck. Emma

make sure you edit all contacts on your phone so they say Google contact, then delete all the contacts on your google acount and re sync.
