Root Contacts and call log background

Does anyone know how to make these black?

but it's not as easy as you would like it to be... lots of xml edits and hours of trial and error.. then months later you'll notice something stupid you forgot and completely forget how tro even do what you did lolol jus sayinn...

Haha thanks dude. I'm loving your Rom#2. The only things I would change are those backgrounds and the notification pull down would be transparent, but I'm not a developer or themer. So... I'll take it as is:thumbup:

hmm... i thought i applied the transparent pull down..? oops lol i have a few things to fix up in that thing lol.. why dont you like the backgrounds?? if your using my rom than it's extremely easy for ya just pull the framework-res.apk, use 7-zip to extract the res/drawable-hdpi folder, then inside the folder in an image called 'mybackground.png' just edit that to all black with any photo editor then re-pack it all and flash or push via adb lol

if you have no clue what i mean then i will explain in further detail for ya just hoping you know what i mean with that lazy paragraph LOLOL

I just spent the last weekend trying to use ninja morph and metamorph to c if i could theme a rom. I eventually gave up on the hole thing cause there is a lot of elements involved in using either one of those 2 apps and I still have a LOT to learn about .xml .9pngs. and smaili editing, and not to mention it is a very time consuming adventure. I had mad respect for devs and themers but I now have gained a whole new found respect for what it takes to develop and or theme a rom. Im sure that using either of those apps was probably going about it the hard way and that there is probably an easier way, (not sure how much easier tho) but y'all r some dedicated mofo's and u all just earned much more respect and admiration from this guy

Actually, I believe the background for the call log and contacts are gonna be apk dependent and must be edited in the phone.apk.

Anyways, from the link I posted above, I changed the system black bg I haven't changed some of the text colors, so in some case the text is hard to read.
