Contacts and Text Messaging Notification

[Caveman13]

So I used to be able to associate a ringtone to text messages from specific contacts on my LG Dare. Now I love my new Droid but it doesn't look like you can do that...Any ideas?

If you use Handcent (versus the default messaging app), you can set up specific ringtones for each contact...

Click on the settings once you have the message thread open for the contact.

Handcent is way better than stock. Each contact can have different wallpaper also. It is free in the Market.
