Help Contacts app doesn't work

I have an unlocked S5. I use Straight Talk but this phone appears to have previously been an ATT. My Contacts app doesn't seem to work. I can't add new contacts or even put in my personal profile. I press the + button and it ends up with a search. Ideally, I would like it to run off my Deja Office contacts. Any suggestions?

Try typing the number into the dialer then see if it says add to contacts at the top like this (random number)
