Contacts Bug?

A bit of a weird bug I'm encountering here. For all of my contacts, I've listed their number with a 1 in front of it (heard this was needed for Google Voice). I've since updated a few of my contacts with pictures, but their pictures don't show up alongside their text messages. What's weird is that this happens to all contacts who have texted me BEFORE I updated their pictures.

Example:

Contacts that texted before I updated their picture:
1. Megan Fox listed as 1-555-555-5555
2. Under contact card, after hitting the text message icon it shows:
Megan Fox <555-555-5555> without the 1 which is probably why the picture doesn't show up.

Contacts that did NOT text before I updated their picture:
1. AnnaLynne McCord listed as 1-444-444-4444
2. Under contact card, after hitting the text message icon it shows:
AnnaLynne McCord <1-444-444-4444> and their picture shows up

Anyone else experience this?

Hi,

Try to either use +1-555-xxx-xxxx or 555-xxx-xxxx for US numbers.
I store a lot of international phones in GV and noticed it converts automatically from +7-495-xxx-xxxx to 011-7-495-xxx-xxxx in call log.
