Help Contacts: "Contacts Data Sync" Menu Item Does Nothing

Scenario:
- Droid Charge, stock
- Exchange server account added (user@domain.com)
- Go into Contacts
- Hit Menu button
- Click "Contacts data sync" menu item

Expected:
- Contact synchronization w/ Exchange server begins

Result:
- Nothing happens

Why is this?
