Hey All

Picked up a phone last night - Sony Xperia Arc lt15a.
OS: 4.0.3

I'm unable to click on any of my contacts - just highlights, but nothing happens. If I navigate to groups and then click on any of the contacts individually, it crashes with the following error:

Unfortunately, the process com.sonyericsson.android.socialphonebook has stopped

I did notice that in the "About" menu, the settings are as follows:
Model: LT18i
Build Number: Nexperia v2.6 by: hemo1001

I couldn't help observe that the model is different from the one that's list on the back of phone, i.e. on the back behind the battery, it's listed as: LT15a

So did the guy flash an incorrect build? He says that this build is straight from Sony, is that right?

There could be a few causes of this however it worth backing up the content with PC Companion and then running an update/repair:

To repair the phone software
1. Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support at Download for PC - Sony Smartphones (Global UK English)
2. Turn on the phone, and connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
3. In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
4. Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
5. Click repair phone.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
