Contacts Issue HTC DHD

[caneaddict]

For some reason, each contact I have has been duplicating itself to the point that I now have each contact entered 7 times. When I try to delete the duplicated contacts, it erases all of them including the original. Can anyone help me solve this issue.

In phone you will see booth.
The only solution is to delete the contacts on the SIM.

But you have to note: There isn't an easy way to write the contacts back to SIM.
