Contacts: Phone vs SIM

My SGC runs Froyo Android 2.2

Since the update to 2.2 from 2.1, I have been unable to save contacts to my SIM card anymore. I have like only 150 contacts on my SIM card so it can definitely take more. I had to reset my phone today due to an issue with the music player and lost like five contacts saved to my phone because I never figured out how to save those five contacts onto my SIM card.

Thank you!

With the Samsung contact app, there's an option to export your contacts. You can export them to your SD card, transfer it off (bluetooth, dropbox, drag and drop, any method you want to move it over to a computer) ... then open up your google account (gmail works easiest here) and import those contacts ... from there you can merge any duplicates, edit information, etc ... the beauty of saving all the information to your google account rather than a SIM is that it easily transfers to any phone you go to.
