Help Contacts Problem?

I have some how got Double Contacts for a lot of my friends. I have a edited Contact list on Google that seems not to have this. How/can I import this List off Google and it overwrite this messed up contact list? Or can I just copy contacts.vcf from Google to somewhere on my Phone to overwrite?

I just merged the contacts, and later cleared the dup data via gmail.

Hard to tell from your message just how you're using Contacts and so what the source of your problem is.

For starters I'd make sure you read up on how contacts are done on the Captivate as I think it might clear up some confusion for you and help you work your way towards a solution for yourself. I'll refer you to the Captivate FAQ:

I got it fixed. I had some setting that was showing contacts from Sim and the phone that caused the Double deal
