Root Contacts Question; Go Back to Nandroid?

So I installed the Liberty ROM and had no problems, except that I noticed that some data from Titanium Backup can not be restored because it is Blur... I really would like those contacts back. I was thinking I should just go into bootstrap, make a clean slate, then restore my nandroid backup. Then I can go in there, backup my contacts to my SD (and to google for good measure... thought I did this), then run Liberty again. Is there any problem with this? I'm still a noob and want to make sure that I wont have any problems using the backup from bootstrap.

Also, if I do this, is there anything else I should backup before going back to Liberty?

EDIT: So I went into bootstrap recovery to look at the recovery file and it is dated for this morning, which means it is Liberty... I think I misunderstood what the bootstrap app did. Anyways, how do I go about getting either back to Froyo or would another ROM allow me access to blur? Hold on... maybe not... so confused. Will this work?
 
I use MyBackup Pro to backup/restore call/text logs and contacts, mainly b/c it's easy. The non-pro version is free.

Things like contacts and call logs are green in Titanium. I just checked and I see my contacts aren't being backed up by default in Titanium. I'm not fond of the backup schedule in Titanium. I'd like to just check what I want backed up and be done with it.

You might want to backup your current setup with recovery, restore your backup, back it up with MyBackup and Titanium, then reload Liberty. When restoring with MyBackup, I restore data, but uncheck system settings.
 
God I'm impatient! I am just going to try it, hopefully I don't regret this. You will here from me if I do, but I'll also post to let you know if I had success.

This stuff still scares me...
 
Yay! It worked fine, came right back to the way it was exactly before Liberty! ...Now I have to get what I need in this ROM and get back to Liberty.
