Help Contacts show duplicateswhile searching

In my galaxy note 3, when I search for contacts it shows my duplicates. When I am just scrolling down (without searching) I don't see duplicates. Can anyone tell me why when I search for contacts it shows me duplicates
 
Go to contacts
select menu
then select contacts to display.
Make sure only one is selected.
I use a customized list so I get my work contacts and my personal contacts.
