Help Contacts Sync Error

My contacts haven't been syncing since last week. When I go to Account and Sync, it shows a sync error for Contacts, but everything else syncs fine. It wouldn't be too much of a problem, but all my contacts disappeared. I've tried everything from clearing cache and data to doing several master resets. At one point I cleared the Google Contact Sync apk, and I was able to view my contacts. I don't know if this is part of my issue, but also within the past week my phone started lagging a bunch and I started getting an error saying that the System UI has crashed.

Can anyone upload the Contacts apk, Contacts Storage apk, and Google Contacts Sync apk for me? I want to use Titanium Backup to uninstall those apps then reinstall them. I doubt it will make a difference though.

Very first move - go to the Google Contacts page and export your contacts. Then you'll at least have a backup. (Make a backup copy of that file on some other device, like an SD card or external drive. Always have a backup of a backup.)

I made the back up on my computer already, emailed it to myself, downloaded it on my phone. When I try to import the contacts, it doesn't find the file.

Even after a fresh master reset, my phone freezes up when I select my gmail account in the Display settings in the Contacts app.
