Help Contacts syncing problems

When I create a new contact on my phone and go to sync it with my computer, the contact I created doesn't transfer to my computer contacts. Any suggestions?

Could you be a little more specific?, like how are you syncing it or how are you trasnfering it and type of computer contacts are toy talking about,ie: Outlook 2007
