Are your contacts saved on your google account? I think that it won't sync if your contacts are saved on the phone or on the sim card.

On my old phone it would sync and it would show whoever is on my phone with there picture and on nexus it doesn't. Anyway to fix this?
You need a 3rd party app to do this because Facebook and Google have an ongoing disagreement. I've seen HaxSync get mentioned but I've not tried it myself.
I've been using Contact Sync for Facebook. It has a few options and the pics are pretty high res too.
HaxSync works well for me for contact images. I can't vouch for any other feature as I don't want Facebook junk in my contacts.
Does it import the pictures into the address book? Or do you have to use its own? Also, does it let you crop the pics? Some of my currently have no heads cos the pics are cropped in the middle.

They are imported into the People app (standard address book).
I haven't seen any issues with cropping and I haven't cropped any further manually.
Well I gave it a go and think I'll convert to HaxSync. It took me a while to sort out my contacts (some contacts were being joined with random facebook accounts) but now its done I'm pretty happy with it. There is an option to manually crop...but it seems to find faces pretty well.
edit...Just don't set it to update your google contacts if you use multiple devices as it then defaults to using the lower res pic from google.

Been using this for a while now...but its not updating any pictures. I've set it to update every day but a couple of days after pictures are changed on facebook my phone has still not updated. I have to manually go into the setting and refresh the image. Anyone else seeing this?
