Most of my contacts are listed multiple times in my phone book. How do I correct this?

Most of my contacts are listed multiple times in my phone book. How do I correct this?

Either they are facebook contacts also or you have them actually added to your phone and gmail account. Either way you can click the contact then go down a little to where it says joined contacts and click that. From there you can select to add a contact and scroll through and find the duplicate and click that. Then they are joined

When I say multiple times I mean like 5-6-7 times because of all the jerking around with shotty phones.

Like you swapped out epics?
Are they all gmail contacts?
You can also go into your contacts and hit menu and select display options and pick what accts display who
