Contacts

When I go to send a Text message and hit the contact button, it always brings up my Gmail contacts in with my Phone Contacts. Is there a way to get rid of the Gmail contacts, I would just like to be able to scroll down and only see my phone contacts when sending to multiple contacts.

i know what you're talking about (I think)

I've got issues where it's showing my contacts on the phone and sim, so doubled over. Although when I look at the my people, the phone is set to view the phone only.

I've no idea how resolve it (I'm having to delete everything off my sim)

thats what i did. I only have google type contacts now. They don't need to be on my sim because they are backed up to my gmail account.

The Contacts/People feature seems a bit confusing to me.

The best way I've found of managing contacts is to create a group called 'Phonebook' and just use the People widget to display that group.

I can then add or remove anyone I like in there and it's easy to pick someone to call/text.

Seems much easier than viewing all People and scrolling through loads of Facebook contacts I don't need or Google contacts with only an e-mail address.

I can manage it all online under my Google account as well.

I am having the same problem, under "people" I have show phone contacts only, but when I go to messages it shows all the sim card contacts as well. I could delete them but there is no option to copy contacts to sim if I need too later.
