Help Contrasting internal free storage information between PC and phone

Hi guys,

As the title suggests, my issue with my 2-day-old XZU is that it shows different internal free space available, especially on PC. On PC, it shows my phone has 7.95 gb free space, while the phone shows I have 8.95 gb, so it differs by around 1 gb. Is it a common issue or a critical bug? I have read somewhere that PC restrict 1 gb free space for MTP purpose, but I need to confirm that.

One more question, one day my brother tried to send me a big file through Bluetooth, 1.4 gb file. However, I stopped the process (only 6%) because it took too much time. Could it be the cause of the problem? Like, it created broken files, bad dumps, or something.

What does your phone say the "sdcard" size is (internal, not the removable card). If that is 7.95 GB you have an answer: the PC reporting that partition as the whole internal storage.

Just a possibility - I don't own this device.

Hmm... Windows reports the correct number of internal storage total space, which is 11.71 gb. However, my phone says it has 8.95 gb of available space, whereas windows says it only has 7.95 gb free space.
