Cool Battery Indicator in Taskbar

I was running Fresh 2.3.3 and came across something that allowed me to change my battery indicator in my taskbar to a circle with the % inside it as seen here:

I'm now running Darchdroid 2.8 and want to stay with it, but I really miss the battery indicator. Unfortunately, for the life of me, I can't find it anywhere...

Anyone able to help?

Thanks!

Get me the Framework-res.apk from your ROM and I can do the icons for you (those are the icons I made HERE).

The percentage in the middle will be a bit tricker and is something I've never attempted (nor would know where to start), so try contacting JsChiSurf over on XDA (information is HERE).

You've got mail.... push the same way as before.

Once again, I'm not responsible if your phone turns into a goose. It does NOT contain the percentage in the center (as mentioned above)

This may or may not be of help, but DarchDroid 2.8 has an option to display the battery percentage left. Just go to SETTINGS/SPARE PARTS/GENERAL/BATTERY STATUS DISPLAY.

in darchdroid, you can add the battery percent from within the Spare Parts settings. Just have to set it to show it, then ensure the color is set to something other than black (if you have a black taskbar), and reboot the phone.

ah..beaten to the punch! yeah what t_wilson said

My phone turned into a goose and now you owe me a new one... :p

Looks different with the white taskbar, but far better than the stock battery indicator.

Thanks again for such a cool mod!

I don't have Spare Parts as an option...

I removed spare parts a while back...

Reinstalling it does not seem to work...

If you are feeling daring I just emailed you a quickly made transparent version so the white taskbar should show up fine.

No problem, if you find any oddities with it, let me know. It was a VERY quick conversion job and not nearly to the level of detail I might normally do.

I just did a wipe & flash of DarchDroid 2.8 and added the % via spare parts then put Kelmar's icons on and WOW did it look good.

I may have to wipe and start over so I can have it that way.

Wish I could get spare parts to work without a wipe, though...

See if you can take it from the ROM that you got the framework-res.apk from. It's likely that it's in there somewhere (perhaps /system/app).

Copy it and adb push it the same way you did the framework-res.apk. Just make sure that you push it to the same spot that you took it from.
