Help Copy files to Home screen

Is there a way to copy files or shortcuts to a folder on the home screen for fast access.

log press on an empty place on your home screen and all these options come available to you.... for custom shortcuts check out the app 'better cut'

Long press does nothing for "files" only wallpaper, widgets, contacts and applications, locations.
Tried AnyCut but no instructions and no progress.
