Copy google contacts to phone?

Is there a way to do it? I cant seem to find an option. Want to copy them so I can have my contacts pictures show in their proper resolution.

Go into People and press menu button, then import/export, then export Google contacts to SD card. Then choose import from SD card and copy contacts into phone. I think this was the way i did a few months back although i just have google contacts on now.

Thanks, is there a way to switch between showing either the phone or google contacts?

And how do I delete the contacts from the phone if I want? Sorry the last time I copied contacts was between my phone and sim on my N95

In people press menu, view and tick or untick which contacts you want to show up.
