Help Copy/Paste Problem

I use my Xoom as a song book with lyrics and chords. I get the songs from places like Ultimate Guitar. On a windows machine I can copy and paste the songs into Notepad without a hitch. When I copy and paste using my Xoom I lose the Carriage Returns, the song becomes one long line of text. Is there a way to copy and paste that will preserve the cariage returns?

Would this be a problem with the Honeycomb OS or the Browser software? I am using the default browser that came with the Xoom..
