Hi everyone, please could you give me some advice about a new SD card and copying its contents and effects on the GPS/maps...
Unlocked HD from CPW early feb.
With 8GB card
maps GPS, locations, navigation etc all work fine.
Mount to laptop, (which doesn't just show SD card contents but phone files aswell), copy everything onto laptop (folder 1).
Bought a 32GB sandisk, insert in HD, now GPS, maps etc cannot update my location (can still look around the maps with Wifi) so i guess i need to copy across the maps from old SD, so i mount to laptop. (Still showing lots of phone files)
Is it safe to drag and drop everything from the 'folder 1' onto the HD?
Or do i have to work whats actually from the MicroSD card and only copy that? As i cant actually see the map files.
I am obviously trying to avoid downloading the UK map 500mb+ which must be on the 8GB card, but i cant see the file?
Any advice appriciated.
