Copying the body of a text message

So in the google voice app I've found you can copy the body of a text message easily by holding down on the message and select copy. But in the HTC messaging app I've not found a way. Am I missing something?

Work around. Forward and it will through the message into edit mode with a FW: at the beginning. Can copy then...

Ah thanks! Yeah I see now that will work as a workaround. Be nice if they added the copy option like how it works in google voice.

If you press and hold "longpress" it should get you a menu to do that, we figured this out the other day on accident!

Right, on the google voice app the menu that comes up has an option to copy but the menu on the htc messaging app that comes up does not have an option for copy.
