Root Core Control / Temperature Throttle?

Android Expert
I have two options in the Thermal section of Kernel Adiutor, as listed in the title. As far as I've been able to find, Core Control enables throttling, which I'm taking to mean it has to be enabled for Temperature Throttle to function. Yet it warns that having multiple options enabled can cause problems. Can anyone clarify any of this?

#echo 0 > /sys/module/msm_thermal/core_control/enabled
so here is the line... im not sure what line is for temp throttle, however, there basically the same thing.. if i find anything on it in the source files ill let you know. Investigate by ls /sys/module/msm_thermal or just use a file explore i've been using CMfilemanager.apk it has a built in hex view for some unreadable files. i made some changes in my script that should help keep temps down on the cpu, but im almost certain that most of the heat is coming from the GPU. My fix is locking it at 200mhz at /sys/class/kgsl/kgsl-3d0 there are many files here some may make your phone unstable fyi. Im still not sure how kernel auditor has implemented it but in that folder there is min_pwrlevel/max_pwrlevel its something like 0-3 those should override mpdecsion, but im not 100% on it just yet. Im looking for a way to get the gpu to load at boot at 200mhz but let mpdecsion still bump it to 450mhz if needed. there is the adreno idler kernel but i havent really tested it that much since its initial release because i been messing with cyan.
here is a pdf on our processor if ya want a read its under resources
