Root Corp Sync pin-lock workaround?

Long time listener, first time caller here!

I LOVE my visual pattern unlock, and LOATH pushing in a pin to unlock (What is this, 1999?). Unfortunately, I just started a new job, set up corporate sync, and it automatically sets up my DX to use a pin to unlock it...

I've done quite a bit of looking around, and found quite a few other posts asking the question, but they all seemed old, and were posted in general help forums.

Seeing as how we can now sbf, install leaked ROMS, and potentially "crack" the bootloader and rock out CM7(!!!!!!!!!!), there has GOT to be SOMEONE who can take advantage of my root access to override the stupid corporate sync locking policy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a solution is already out there and my searches haven't found it let me know, or else someone should make an app and make some money. I know I'd buy one, just tell me the price!!!

Thanks, in advance, for the help, and keep up the great work helping n00bs like me become slightly less n00by! :) You are all my heroes!

If that is their phone I recommend unrooting your phone immediately. At some companies if you tamper with your phone you can be terminated. If its your phone I don't see why you can't change the security settings back to pattern lock. Under Settings -> Security

No, i obviously wouldn't root a corporate phone, or hack any other company property...

But in order to exchange sync the syncing app is granted permission to override any security. And if you go into settings/security the options to change no lock, pin lock, vissual pattern lock is greyed out and all you can do is set your pin. That is the problem I don't like. I can set it to not require pin for 30 minutes, but that is the only control it gives me.
