Root Corporate Directory Search

Luzce

Newbie
So when I had my D3 stock there was what I think was a Motorola application called People Search or Contact Search. If I typed up a name it would look for it on my saved contacts, but it would also look it up in my corporate directory (I use Exchange Server for my work e-mail) as I typed, and I could call or e-mail straight from there.

At the moment I'm running Liberty ROM v2.0 and miss this feature from my stock Droid. The Contacts app just looks in the contacts that are saved on my phone. I downloaded an app called Corporate Addressbook, which I think I could get by with, but this only looks the corporate directory, and it doesn't search as I type.

It was really nice to have that one app that looked in both places. Any way to get that original app back on my phone?

Thanks!

I think if you go to your home screen, hit the search soft key, then menu, then searchable items or something along those lines, you can use search to display those results.

I looked around on my wife's stock D3 for this mystery app I'm talking about and I couldn't find it. I guess I must've been using the good ol' Contacts, but if I use that now it doesn't check in the Corporate Directory. I'm positive that before I installed Liberty ROM it did (my wife does not have a corporate account so I can't confirm this now). If anyone has a clue as to how to get it to look in there again I'd greatly appreciate the tip.
