Help Corporate email issue

Hi guys

Long time stalker, first time poster

Have been loving my A500 for the past several months, especially after the recent update that enabled Corporate (ie: Exchange) email sync'ing.

One thing I'm not enjoying however is the limitation on being able to sync the last 'one month' only of Exchange data to the Iconia. I often have need to access email further back than one month.

I've trialled Touchdown for Tablets and did not enjoy the experience. The stock email/calendar/contacts apps are so much nicer to use, and frankly look a decade more modern than the Touchdown interface.

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync more than one month of Exchange data with the stock apps, and if not, then recommend any other solutions (sync'ing via ActiveSync).

Funny, I thinkthe opposite I an using Touchdown for tablets and now that I can sync exchange with the native app I havenot had any desire to go back to it.I use the native emailfor personal pop and TD for my business email and calendar. I know this does not answer you question but I had to bring this up. Good Luck.

I don't know the answer to your question, I've only seen max 1 month. But I agree that the stock email looks 10 times better than touchdown etc. Plus I don't think the others are good value. I know in latest versions of stock on gingerbread there are several improvements ,(search etc) so I think that next stock updates should sort out user issues.

I've trialled K9 (no ActiveSync support) and Enhanced Email (html email issues), and as mentioned TouchDown just doesn't float my boat (moreso given cost).

I'm living with the stock email client, but under sufferance

Hmm, I agree Touchdown is a bit pricey, but have to say for my users who are computer challenged and live in a Microsoft world, Touchdown on their Android phones is a blessing. It feels and behaves more like Outlook in that it is a complete package, like Outlook--i.e. address book, calendar, E-Mail are all contained within the application instead of divided up into different applications. I also agree with the 'look' of Touchdown ... except for the HC tablet version. If you've already purchased a license, you get that free. I don't think there's much other than aesthetics in that version but the GUI is greatly approved and behaves more like a HC app. I always hated the default layout of Touchdown where it lists your E-Mails on the left and 70% of the right side is nothing more than a counter for new E-Mails and new alerts. Still, from a functional perspective in meets (and in some cases exceeds) my needs. With computer challenged users, I never had one of them ask me how to do something within Touchdown.
