Help corporate exchange Calendar Sync Issue

Hi all Hopefully someone has an answer...
I set up my corp exchange email account and the email part of it works flawlessly. The calendar on the other hand is very quirky.
On the first Sync I noticed that not ALL appointments were brought over from my Outlook Calendar. Upon researching it seems that the meetings not coming over are all recurring meetings. Some were from other people that I was invited too but most were recurring meetings I had created on my own calendar.

I did some testing to isolate the behavior:
Create single appointment in Outlook
It shows up perfectly on the Fascinate.
In outlook change the appointment to recur monthly
Appointment VANISHES from Fascinate.
Remove recurrence from appointment in Outlook
It comes back to Fascinate.

The same behavior can be seen when creating a fresh appointment with recurrence.
The problem seems to be isolated also to recurrence set for the "every third wednesday" or something similar. It works for monthly on the 20th for instance.


ANYONE else having this issue?

Firmware version is: 2.1-Update1
Build: SCH-I500.DI01 (downloaded today and did not correct sync issue)

My answer won't help you too much, but just to add a data point, recurring appointments from my Exchange calendar come across fine on my Fascinate.

Interesting for sure! I have now even tried a hard reset and the problem still exists.
Any time an appointment hits my outlook calendar that has monthly recurrence for one of the "every 3rd thursday" or something similar it will not show on the fascinate.

I called Verizon and they do not have any help for me either. Unfortunately this is a potential deal breaker.

Anyone else mind testing this scenario on their fascinate?

I am using Outlook as well and have multiple reoccurring entries in my calendar. I've had no issues so far. Not sure what could be causing this on your end.

Ok I just replaced the phone with another unit and the same thing is happening.

I cant imagine what would be going on with my setup outside of the phone.

We ran another test with an Incredible and a Droidx on the same meeting invite and both of those phones kept the appt. Fascinate dropped it. Of course both of those phones were running 2.2....

Which version of Exchange? Have you tried Touchdown?

Touchdown actually works great. It is at least exchange 2003. (im not exactly sure what version it is)
