Help Corporate Sync Notifications Not Showing Up

I really love how the Corporate sync app looks, but I have tested and tested and it is very clear that while the Corporate Sync program may receive the email, it doesn't display a notification, even when you have Vibrate and Sounds turned on for that particular account. I installed roadsync to test this out and roadsync displays the notification in the tray up top, but the native corporate sync app won't. anyone else had this problem?

I am also having the same problem with my DroidX. I get the emails, appointments, etc. But am not getting notifications. Very frustrating.
