Correct Flytouch 3 voltage

Hi, I just bought my flytouch 3/superpad 3 and having trouble with the charge. The battery light is flashing red. the AC adapter is rated at 9V and 2.5A. Is that the correct voltage for the unit? I thought I would check to see if the AC adapter is the correct one before trying other things.

It powers up ok when plugged in.

well, its definitely not a FT2. It has only one TF slot, for example. So, it should be a 5V adapter then? Is that everyone else's experience?

I have read that recently they changed the batteries from 5V to 9V but I am not sure if it was for the facepad and FT4 only. I have checked the site you bought it and 3 of the links had a flytouch 3 that had 6400mah battery and a poorer one that had just 3000. It could be many things - The battery being faulty, the charger being faulty, made a mistake.. its hard to tell you. For now you should just ask the seller for a charger. I just hope you did not get the 3000 battery one.

I would complain to the vendor until it was fixed to my satisfaction.

Please, don't let them keep getting away with sending wrong or bad units out.

File a complaint with paypal or your credit card, the sellers will soon take notice of you and your problems then.

Any problems charging it? I got a 9v charger and it dosent fit properly. Can you tell me the specs please ex my charger is 9v 2.5 A polarity (-- to +)

I also purchased mine from DHGate (rongwei electronics was the supplier) - 9V, 2000mA. (6400mAh battery) The power adapter is labeled "Model: LA-920." I've had absolutely no problems with charging.
