Root Correct order of things

So I went back to E13 than Ota back to 14 now im updating to gingerbread....
Next I plan on doing one click root....and than running cwm and than cwm update..than cwm to partition(ive done this already will i run ino a problem if I do it again or will I lose space)
Is this the correct order of things? Or if not can you point me into the correct order.

I just odined to GB the did the rest and I had no errors

I am a newer user, but I'm gonna have to agree. I just Odined to GB rooted with CWM5 and have no problems...although the Market has an issue now and then. Still your call but saves a LOT of steps :)
