Root Correct Radio for Orange in the UK

Hi Everyone

Can someone please tell me what the correct radio/baseband code should be? Ever since i became rooted the i don't seem to be able to get a 3g signal or connection, can connect to 2g no probs but either its an orange issue in my area or the rooting changed the radio...might well be wrong on both these points but i stand to be corrected

Oh on CM 7.1 by the way.

When you rooted, did you do it using the hack kit? Not sure if that changes the radio or not... will have a look to see what it says. I've never changed the radio on mine (which is on Orange UK) and I rooted before the days of the AAHK.

Here's mine for reference: 12.28b.60.140eU_26.03.02.26_M (that's the baseband which, if memory serves, is the radio).

EDIT - just had a look on the XDA thread that is linked from El P's "root" sticky... it says that:

Correct Radio is automagically restored for HSPA+ operation

I don't know if this means that a different radio is flashed as part of the AAHK or if your radio is restored as-is.

I think that it downgrades the radio in the rooting process and then restores your original one when it's finished

That'll clear it up then!!

So, you should have the same radio as you had before you rooted, which should match mine (as I've not flashed a new radio on mine, ever since I rooted in April)

Yes i used the hack kit because it was the easiet option, my baseband says 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M

There's the list of available radios, there are only a few Orange ones on there but they're both quite old. You should be fine with any of the WWE releases though.
