Costco also list Atrix @ $150

Man, new phones always bring out the big geek in me! I'm soooo jonesing for a new phone. Things are getting very exciting, indeed! Bring it on!!!

It looks like Moto knows if it wants people to buy the docks its going to sell that they need to charge less for the phone. Do the math, 150 phone on 2 year, 150 for laptop dock = 300. that makes it the most expensive contract android phone with the feature set it has been promoting. Now I know the other docks will be cheaper so I know my math is a worst case for price.

Very true.
I'm not sure how the carrier subsidy/manufacturer relationship works so I can only guess. But, I would assume that they would make more of a profit margin on the docks. I mean how much does it really cost to make the charging, multimedia, and car docks. Have you ever seen inside a Droid charging dock; its literally just a Micro USB extension cable, some plastic, a magnet, and a bar of steel to give it some weight so it doesn't slide off the desk, and pretty much every Droid owner willing shelled out $30 a pop for them, probably cost $5 to make it.
Not ranting just saying.

You are probably correct; when I worked at Fry's Electronics I could see the stores Cost to buy a product. TV's were tops (no joke 80% to 200% markup), but cell phone accessories were almost always in the 40% to 80% markup.
