Costco's $250 vibrant deal is not working anymore!!!

Just to let everyone know that you cant get the vibrant for 250 at costco since today. I called three costcos and confirmed and looked at the website, the price is 479.99. If you are like me and missed it, well bad for us:(
 
That's lame. I'm waiting for the Fascinate, and I hope they either get their stuff together with the release pricing of these phones, or have it underpriced long enough for me to jump on it. :D

I am VERY pissed at Tmobile right now. To the point that I will probably get a Fascinate. I took my vibrant back, and then they said at Costco I can't get the deal for 1 month. Now, this change occurred, so if I wait a month, I am back to the same old pricing, that I had at the T-mobile store.

This is the same tmobile store that gave me a $50 discount on the G1 on launch day, and locked it in as a 2 year contract. As far as I am concerned, Tmobile can take a leap.

i posted that in the room yesterday, go back and look at the threads... i said today 7-19-2010 is the last day.

why won't costco let you get it for an entire month? did you cancel the contract?

It is because, when I got my G1, they gave me $50 off, and the store didn't tell me it was a 2 year extension. I got the G1 on launch day. Costco is different than Tmobile stores. So, they can only renew at 22 months, which is 1 month, and a couple of days away from now. They knew they had messed up, and had put a note in my account that I could upgrade at the full 2 year price point, a year ago. The problem, is that Costco's system is a little different, and it won't let you use that kind of authorization to upgrade. It is all pretty messed up, honestly.

I tried to contact support today to resolve it, and they said there was nothing they could do. Even though the store never once mentioned that it was an extension. I had the lady on the phone tell me that it was spelled out in the contract I signed, so it was my fault. While, I understand that assessment, Tmobile needs to understand, if I am exploited by one of the sales people representing their company, I will let my friend know, I will let my acquaintances know, and I will let everyone else know that Tmobile uses underhanded sales techniques to screw their customers. I would NEVER sign away 2 years, for $50. That is stupid.

I refuse to deal with companies that use underhanded methods to exploit more money from me. The long and the short of it, is that there is not one thing Costco CAN do for me... and there is not anything that tmobile WILL do for me.
