Could increasing settings on MinFreeManager be a culprit for battery drain?

I think I understand how MinFreeManager works, but not exactly. I recently increased the settings on MinFreeManager (from default to aggressive) along with some other minor changes on my phone, and noticed faster battery drain. Could the settings change I performed on MinFreeManager be a reason for the faster battery drain, or would it be something else?

if anything it should give you better battery life as it will keep fewer things running in the background.

exactly. thats what I thought. hmm it must be something else i've done that is running the battery...

I've noticed that Spare Parts does not tell which specific app has been running the battery the most... does it? If so, I must be missing out on something

It does show specific apps battery usage, that's what makes it so useful in these situations. Just play with the two input fields, the main ones to look at are partial wake usage and cpu usage.

Hmm for partial wake time, top app is "Android System"... for CPU usage, its something called "suspend"... any idea what that is?

Also, for "network usage" there is something called "0".... the name of the app is just the number 0. What is this??
