So as my hacking excitement climaxed, I wanted to get the stock android unlock screen, where it has the slide to unlock and slide to silence.
XDA has a thread for how to do this, it involves replacing the stock captivate android.policy.odex
I asked for help on XDA but the thread I was in got piled up with responses and I didn't get any help.
I did create a backup of the old stock captivate file on my internal SD card, however my sd card was erased after an unfortunate drop.
the file is located under /system/framework/android.policy.odex
any help is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance!
