Couple of questions? (Help?)

Hey guys, I have a couple of questions about the Desire. (This had mixed questions, so didn't know which section to put it in)

1. Will the 2.3 update include an updated version of Sense?

2. If I root my desire and put a custom ROM on it, how easy is it to go back to normal firmware so i can get the official 2.3 update?


3. Can I use a Goldcard as my everyday use memory card too?

1) The leaked version had sense 1.0 (same as your desire came with) so we think not. There is a space issue 2.

2) Depends if your original android version is available as an RUU. If you root to go custom, why would you want to go back though?

3) You can, as long as you dont partition it afterwards.

2. How'd you mean my original version? Don't I un-brand the handset so I can use a stock RUU?
And I'd like to go back to stock just in case I want the 2.3 Official update.

3. Don't a lot of ROM's need partitions?

2. You could use an unbranded RUU yes. But why have the official update when the custom ones are already better?

3. Yes what I mean is partitioning an sd card if its a gold card, will break it as a gold card. You can try to gold it afterwards though

2. In case I'd like to sell it or something, or just so I can go back to a fully working stock ROM.

3. Hmm, okay. I should really get another SD card then?
