Help Couple of questions re: email

Hello everyone,

I've just upgraded to a DINC from a BB Storm I (worst consumer product I'd ever bought). Loving the Incredible so far...a huge step up! Long story short, I had a few questions about email on the DINC and tried to find the answer to these questions through google but to no avail.

1) My gmail icon does not show a count of new messages - is there any way I can get it to do that?

2) Is there any way to merge the gmail and other mail accounts into one inbox? (from what I've been able to find on the net the answer is sadly no...) Having one inbox on my storm was very conveneient and I'd love to replicate it on the DINC.

3) Is there a widget/app that lets you preview new messages? On my blackberry certain themes would let you "preview" your new messages...any way to do this on the DINC?

4) When I am using Wifi my mail accounts don't sync...I'm guessing this is b/c my IMAP addresses are all mobile addresses but is there any way I can get my mail accounts to sync on wifi?

There's a native messages widget, not sure if that's what you're after

Not sure I have the answer to this. I don't have a problem with WiFi

I just wanted to add that SMS Unread Count also supports gmail (same functionality as Gmail unread count, except it also does SMS). It's worth noting that it appears that "Gmail unread count" will only display up to 999 unread messages, whereas SMS Unread Count will display into the thousands. I'm not sure if anyone other than myself has more than 1,000 unread messages, though...
