Help Couple things..

I have a couple things that I have been running into and was just wondering if theres a fix or if anyone else has been experiencing the same problems as me.

The first one is charging.. Sometimes while charging, it will just stop charging, not just when its at 100% or even close, sometimes when its still at yellow. Then I have to unplug it and plug it back in again.
Something else thats similar to that is.. I have my phone plugged into my laptop at work all day cause I ocasionally go into it .. and to charge it, and it will just disconnect itself, and again I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

The Second thing is just more of an annoyance then anything else to me. Whenever I plug my phone into my laptop (running XP) it always runs the installation for the drivers. Is there a reason for this? When I plug it in my desktop (running w7) it does not prompt me at all.

Just a couple things that would be nice if I could find some more info about,
Thanks

As far as issue #1 is concerned it sounds like the cable isn't connecting perfectly (probably between phone and cable, not cable and charger/computer). I have this issue rarely and I think the cable just works itself out a bit and so doesn't register as plugged in. My best guess (and that is all it is, a guess) is that the micro usb connection on the phone is not adjusted quite right. It doesn't happen often enough that I feel the need to have VM replace it, but if it happens enough you could look into that.

Issue #2 I believe is how XP handles it, not sure if you can do anything to change it as I haven't used XP in a few years and can't mess around with it to see what I could do.. I am using win7 on multiple deivces and Ubuntu on my laptop and I do not get that.

I was thinking it was also just XP, but wasnt 100% on it.

I may consider having VM Replace it, cause if it would have been luck for me waking up early today I wouldn't have had an alarm, cause it happened while I was sleeping, thats probably the 3rd time its happened over night, I know the last time it was completely dead when I woke up.

I hear they are very good about sending a replacement if there are hardware issues. If it is your only alarm, and it happens regularly, I would try to replace it.

This has only happened to me me about 4 times in 3 months. But I believe it is the micro usb connection in the phone that is the issue.

I think I read somewhere that you can mess with it to make it fit better, but I cannot remember where I saw that and what they did. It was not that involved just bending the connector I think, but I didn't want to mess with it myself, because mine works correctly 99.9% of the time.

I quickly found out that this phone is picky about usb cables, so I use the one that came with my phone with my laptop and to plug it in to charge

I tried that little how to, but I don't have the custom.ISO file to delete..
