Root CPU/GPU frequencies.

OK. I found the setting for the minimum CPU frequency to be used inside the build.prop and changed it to one step below max clock. I have been pretty damn happy with it for awhile now.

The question I have however is.

How do I set the minimum frequency for the GPU in the build.prop or any other location without having to use a kernel control app?

I'm still trying to find a way to play with my gpu using an app. Lol.

Probably searching wrong.
I'll let you know if I see anything though.

I have been getting throttled down to 300 MHz non stop due to the phone running hot.

Anyone know how to disable the thermal throttle on our devices?

Nvm. Device Control has the options to disable it. No more heat throttling. It has thermal control options for Qualcomm chips.

Nvm. Still getting the max frequency throttled down to 300 MHz when the temp gets too high...

you do realize it is simply the chip refusing to commit suicide, right?

Alrighty. Still no luck in changing the core control settings for thermal throttling.

OK. I found out how to get past the thermal throttle.

You have to navigate through you system folder and rename or delete a specific file called libthermalioctl.so
I also used kernel adiutor to turn off the thermal control options to finally make this successfully run at top speeds even when charging your phone.

Can anyone make a build prop entry or some kind of customs script that disables these options on boot? It would save space, ram, CPU usage and battery power instead of using a kernel control app to shut them off.
