I have seen on Samsungs homepage that the Gio model has a clock speed of 800 Mhz. I am using Rom Manager for a while and with it I see that the clock speed is about 240 Mhz. As my phone is rooted I can with that program change the speed up to 800 Mhz.
It sometimes falls back to 240 Mhz and I adjust it again.
Even I change the speed I can not see a better performance.
My question is, is Rom Manager showing the right clock speed and if it is true, then why Samsung had set the clock speed to 240 and advertise that it tuns on 800 Mhz?

The speed of our gio is 800mhz so rom manager is showing the clock speed wrong.
So you mean that the speed of 800 Mhz is always there, and if I want a higher speed then I need to add a new kernel? How much more speed can we get for Gio?
