Help CPU usage 97%

Hi, do anyone know what system/bin/dmagent is as its using 85% of my cpu which is making my HTC Desire HD run really slow, iv tried ending progress but I just comes back. Hope someone can help.
 
Hi, thanks for the reply just tried that and it has help a little but when txting the keyboard still lags also cpu still on 99% usage
 
Did you guys install the 2.2.1 updated (1.72.405.3)? Many people have reported bugs in this software which max out the CPU and drain the battery in a couple of hours; this is why the update was pulled.
 
Hi

Had the same problem after I updated to 2.2.1. For me it was the syncing with HTCsense that caused the problem --> solution: remove the account and add it again and a reboot - now cpu is 2-8%
 
Hi, thanks for all your help I just reset my phone and its back to normal just hope I don't forget and update it again.
