There suppose to be clocked at 1.5 but metro underclocked it to 1.2.
Checked and same here. What's your ram?710 here.
Yes it's running at 1.51ghz and has 710 ram. I wonder what's wrong with ram?
Mine is also running at 1.5ghz
Dewolfe
It could be as simply there is a batch of Motions out there that have top end CPU's. When manufacturing a CPU its some times possible to have a batch that preforms will above standard. Normal these are cherry picked from the batch and sold as "higher end parts"
i got one from the first batch an it is indeed 1.5GHz , than i just ran it on the 2nd batch of phones we got it , it said 1.2GHz

Wouldn't I feel special if my phone was one of the select ones at 1.5 ghz.![]()
I wonder, will the firmware bring the 1.2 to 1.5???
I don't think this is something we need to worry about. While they could "fix it" and underclock it to 1.2 ghz with an update, lg updates are done through the lg updater tool on the computer. They aren't forced on us as an ota.
If you don't want the update when it comes, chances are it won't be forced. I don't see any reason to update at this point anyways, unless the update will add features or jellybean, I'm not interested. I'll keep things the way they are.
Sorry to those of you that are or will be stuck with a 1.2 ghz motion.
Edit: now that I'm thinking about it.. Maybe zva was forced on me on my Connect. I can't remember.. Zzz the better not mess with my clock speeds! Lol
I'm talking about the firmware LG already has up and I linked in the ATR subforum already. If you flashed it, I wonder if it would either change 1.2 Ghz to 1.5 GHz or vice versa.....I'm not talking about updates, I'm talking about flashing current firmware.....there may be two versions of this firmware already if some phones are clocked at 1.2 and others at 1.5
If that's true, then I need a 1.5 clocked phone S/N and a 1.2 clocked serial number and see if the links are the same or not.....
Or LG made a simple mistake and already got rid of any 1.5 GHz clocked firmware...which would really suck.
Does the new ones score in the 5300's in quadrant?im just trying to find out if we really have 1.5 or if its a false reading somehow
Damn Sammy, is your period key sticking?
I understand what you mean. I was just meaning in general, concerning updates and their potential for mucking around with the clock speeds. I don't intend on flashing the firmware available to find out haha.
I will assist you in figuring out what you wanna know though. Pm, or respond with what you want me to do.
