crazy screen

can anyone help me out? my screen on my huawei ascend keeps opening and closing my apps and using up my battery. any suggestions would be helpful.

I've never heard of that before. You might have a defective screen if it's launching apps just sitting there with nothing touching it. You should ask in Huawei Ascend - Android Forums to see if any other Ascend users have seen this.
