Root creating a shortcut to all apps menu

I'm making my froyo cyanogenmod 6.1.2 droid run simple and efficient, and I've been digging around a few forums trying to figure out how to create a shortcut on my home screen that takes me to the all apps menu so that I can shut off my dock entirely. -already have my phone and internet buttons taken off.
I looked at this free 'Apps Organizer' app but it doesnt do what I'm looking for as simply as it seems like it could.
Any ideas appreciated, I've never learned code, but I can copy and paste.

Maybe is there a folder in my directory that contains the app launchers displayed by the dock 'all apps' button? I have File Manager, I could create a shortcut to that i think right ---newly rooted-
